Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Specialist to join our client Cloud Operations & Managed Services – Cloud Delivery team. This is a key role responsible for leading the deployment and enhancement of enterprise cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability across complex environments. You will play a hands-on role in automation, scripting, and solution delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot VMware cloud environments
• Lead deployment and integration of cloud infrastructure solutions including technologies such as VMware Cloud Foundation, VsRail, PowerMax (PMAX), Isilon, and Dell Data Domain.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, Node.js, YAML)
• Design and implement cloud automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet
• Support and manage systems on RedHat Linux, Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu; familiarity with public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Apply object-oriented programming knowledge to streamline system operations
• Understand networking, storage, database, security, and backup technologies
• Manage and strengthen customer relationships, acting as a primary point of contact
• Collaborate with operations teams, mentor junior engineers, and conduct Proof of Concept evaluations
• Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities and leveraging customer insights

Skill Set Requirements:

• Strong client engagement and project management skills
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Capable team player with the ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management
• DevOps or relevant developer certifications would be advantageous

Minimum Experience Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• More than 3–5 years of relevant working experience in cloud infrastructure and operations
