Job summary

Defence Collective Singapore Ltd. is seeking a Specialist - Centre Management System Support for a 1-year contract. The role handles daily operations of facilities, exhibits and AV systems across centres/museums, ensuring seamless events and visits.

You will coordinate maintenance, supervise contractors, and manage logistics for plays, shows and tours. Candidate should have at least 1 year in a similar role, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently, handle multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a comparable role.
• Clear, concise and compelling English communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
• Willingness to perform strenuous activities and lift heavy loads.
• Able to rotate shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily startup and shutdown of facilities, exhibits, attractions and projection systems.
• Conduct 1st level corrective maintenance and respond to system/building faults.
• Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure safety and standards.
• Setup logistics for events and daily organised visits (AV, furniture, equipment).
• Report on spares and consumables and participate in facilities improvement projects.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties, hands-on tasks and projects as assigned.
• Respond to fire emergencies/incidents at sites.

Job description

THIS IS A 1-YEAR CONTRACT ROLE . The Specialist - Centre Management System Support is responsible for ensuring all exhibits, audio-visual equipment, facilities, and essential services are available daily to support daily operations for centres/museums under Defence Collective Singapore (DCS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily Startup & Shutdown of Facilities, Exhibits, Attractions & Projection Systems.
• Conduct 1st level corrective maintenance, respond to any system/building faults.
• Supervise and inspect the works of contractors and the works of the service providers (cleaning, housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, car park and security). To ensure contractors' compliance to safety, regulations and level of standards set my DCS.
• Conducts setup of logistics inclusive but not limited to AV Systems, Furniture, and equipment for events & daily organised visits.
• Report and recommend buying of critical spares and consumables for various facilities repair and improvement and participate in facilities improvement projects.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties, hands-on work, projects as assigned.
• Respond to the fire emergency/incidents and accidents at sites.

REQUIREMENTS

• N-Level/O Level/ NITEC/ Professional Certificate
• Minimum 1 year experience in a comparable role
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure and to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities while dealing with changing priorities.
• Withstand various strenuous activities such as frequent walking, prolonged standing, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling without restriction.
• Able to lift heavy loads.
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
