Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore is seeking a production technician to perform thermal spray and coating work on gas turbine components. You will follow detailed work instructions, perform related processes, and help maintain quality, schedules, and a clean workshop.

Structured on-the-job training is provided; candidates with NTC/ITE or equivalent qualifications are preferred, and rotating shifts are required. This on-site role offers exposure to aerospace and turbine repair environments.

Qualifications

• Reading and following work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal spray and/or GEL coating for gas turbine and aero-derivative engine repair.
• Follow work instructions to complete tasks including blasting, polishing, heat treatment, and other production processes.
• Ensure product quality standards and maintain equipment care, production schedules, and workplace housekeeping.
• Comply with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and report unsafe conditions or practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Education

Secondary education or equivalent

NTC, ITE certification, or equivalent technical qualification

Relevant experience in thermal spray, coating, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, turbine repair, or related field

Willingness to work rotating shifts

Qualifications/Requirements

• Secondary education or equivalent qualification.

• NTC, ITE certification, or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.

• Relevant experience in thermal spray, coating, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, turbine repair, or a related field is advantageous.

• Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply, as structured on-the-job training will be provided.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
