Special Education Teacher/Assistant (Primary/ Secondary)

No prior teaching experience required. You will be trained on the job. Those with satisfactory performance will be nominated to attend a 1-year full time diploma in special needs course at National Institute of Education whilst drawing full salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare daily lessons in line with the Pupil's IEPs alongside with Allied Health Professional.
2. Monitor Pupil's progress, achievements and participation in school activities.
3. Guide and equip Pupils with the pre-requisite / vocational skills needed for future employment opportunities.
4. Collaborate with parents through case conferences, or home visits to facilitate Pupil's overall growth and development.

Requirements

1. Candidate with full GCE "A" level (incl General Paper); polytechnic diploma or degree from a recognised educational institution.
2. Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
