Job description

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spa Therapist to deliver exceptional wellness therapies and beauty treatments to our clients. The Spa Therapist will be responsible for providing a range of services that promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, and client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Conduct thorough client consultations to understand individual health histories, preferences, and any specific concerns or conditions. Tailor treatments based on the client's needs and preferences.
  • Massage Therapy: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Prenatal, Reflexology, and other specialized massage techniques.
  • Body Treatments: Body scrubs, wraps, detoxifying treatments, and hydrotherapy.
  • Facial Treatments: Cleansing, exfoliating, masking, and moisturizing facials, tailored to different skin types and concerns.
  • Hair Removal: (If applicable) Waxing, threading, or other hair removal methods.
  • Client Education: Provide clients with information on post-treatment care, home care routines, and recommendations for suitable spa products and services.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and prepared for each client, creating a tranquil and comfortable environment conducive to relaxation. This includes maintaining equipment and ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene.
  • Product Knowledge & Sales: Maintain in-depth knowledge of all spa products, including oils, lotions, and aromatherapy options. Educate clients on the benefits of different products and services, and contribute to sales targets through effective recommendations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes, medical history, and post-treatment recommendations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, acknowledging and responding to client queries, needs, and expectations. Handle complaints professionally and report any incidents to the supervisor.
  • Adherence to Standards: Uphold strict hygiene standards and follow all health and safety regulations, as well as spa policies and procedures.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, new techniques, and product advancements through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other spa team members, including receptionists, beauticians, and management, to ensure a seamless and integrated spa experience.
