Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is seeking a dedicated Spa Attendant to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, guest care and hygiene across the spa facilities in Singapore.

You will greet guests by name, prepare treatment rooms, manage linen and supplies, escort guests, deliver towels and beverages, and ensure all equipment and areas meet departmental standards.

Regular training and strict adherence to health, hygiene and safety procedures are required.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Attend briefings and meetings as requested.
• Be fully aware of all Spa services to promote the Spa.
• Have a complete understanding of the company's procedures in respect to health, hygiene, and safety.
• Ensure wastage of cleaning materials is kept to a minimum.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and handled in accordance with departmental standards.
• Report lost property to the Spa Manager in accordance with company procedure.
• Attend all scheduled training, even if it falls outside of regular working hours.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
• Carry out daily general cleaning of all areas of the treatment rooms, washrooms, and Spa public areas in accordance with departmental standards.
• Ensure the Spa ambience set up is in accordance with departmental standards.
• Ensure guests are greeted using their names at all times.
• Deliver soiled linen and collect clean linen from laundry service as directed.
• Ensure the correct quantity of cleaned linen is received from laundry.
• Ensure soiled linen is collected, sorted, and bagged in accordance with departmental procedure.
• Ensure an adequate supply of guest amenities and supplies is maintained and provided.
• Greet guests in accordance with company policy.
• Escort guests to the treatment rooms and serve beverages upon completion of the treatment.
• Prepare and serve cold towels as directed.
• Check that all treatment rooms, washrooms, and Spa public areas are in good working order, and report defects to the Senior Spa Attendant.
