Job Description

Taking guidance and instruction from the Senior Spa Attendant, the Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining the hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitization of the spa and gym facilities. They are required to orient guests with the spa amenities, greet guests upon entry, and provide personal guest service. The Spa Attendant also keeps lounges, lockers, and other guest areas neat, clean, and well-stocked with all necessary amenities.

Primary Responsibilities

Knowledge and Maintenance

  • Maintain good knowledge of all spa features and services, as well as all wet and dry areas.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance as per checklists.
  • Greet guests warmly and bid farewell courteously.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
  • Manage linen, towel, and guest amenities supplies and stock levels.
  • Follow the daily task schedule outlined in the checklist.
  • Keep floors clean through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing as needed.
  • Clean entrance doors, including frames and tracks, daily.
  • Maintain upholstery and furniture, including dusting and straightening.
  • Perform high and low dusting daily, clean countertops, and all glass surfaces.
  • Polish all glass, mirrors, signs, and fixtures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception counters, empty trash, and replace liners.
  • Refill restroom supplies, clean toilets, urinals, sinks, and counters.
  • Disinfect and clean shower areas and steam room walls and floors.
  • Maintain restroom floors with disinfectant, empty trash bins, and sanitary napkin holders.
  • Remove spots, fingerprints, and graffiti from walls, partitions, and switches.

Cleaning Treatment Rooms

  • Sweep and mop treatment room floors daily with disinfectant.
  • Vacuum treatment rooms daily.
  • Empty trash and replace liners nightly.

Linen and Lounge Management

  • Assist in retrieving, folding, and stocking linen in lounges and storage areas.
  • Set up water stations before spa opens and as needed throughout the day.

Health and Safety

  • Maintain the spa according to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare the spa area professionally before opening, following SOPs.
  • Report faults and defects using the Repair and Maintenance Request Form.
  • Care for treatment room equipment and maintain sanitation standards.

General Housekeeping

  • Enforce housekeeping and presentation standards.
  • Ensure towels and linen are replenished and stored properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in lounges, pantry, corridors, and changing rooms.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
