Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Singapore seeks a South East Asia Compliance Director to lead the regional Ethics & Compliance program. You will shape strategy, oversee governance, and ensure effective execution across Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and beyond, with travel as needed.

Based in Singapore, you will influence senior leadership, champion a speak-up culture, and drive training to mitigate risk while aligning regional actions with global programs.

Qualifications

• ACAMS qualification mandatory.
• Proven multi-country leadership experience.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Extensive ethics and compliance experience in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse, multi-country compliance team across SEA.
• Define and execute a risk-based regional compliance strategy.
• Advise regional and country leaders and influence executive decisions.
• Oversee governance and risk inputs into the ERM framework.
• Ensure local execution of global programs (Anti-Corruption, AML/Sanctions, Privacy).
• Champion speak-up culture and deliver risk-based training.
• Serve as liaison between regional leaders and Global Risk, Ethics & Compliance.
• Lead due diligence and integration for new ventures, expansion, M&A.
