Job summary

TASH TISH TOSH (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated kitchen helper to support daily meal preparation in a high-volume kitchen.

You will measure ingredients, portion foods, operate grills and ovens, and assist with opening and closing duties under the Executive Chef’s supervision.

Maintaining sanitation, inventory, and timely service are essential, along with teamwork to ensure guest specifications are met with consistency.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals and food to meet guest specifications in a timely manner.
• Measuring ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
• Ensuring staff follow standards, procedures and sanitation rules.
• Using knives and equipment (grills, ovens, steamers and warmers) safely.
• Managing kitchen inventory and ensuring high-quality, fresh supplies.
• Maintaining proper food temperatures and safe storage.
• Keeping workstations and equipment clean, organized and sanitized.
• Handling opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef.

• Using kitchen knives and equipment such as grills, ovens, steamers and warmers in food preparation
• Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality
• Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward
• Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized
• Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef
