Job description

  • Assist Head Chef in Kitchen Operations
    Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff
    Oversee junior chefs and kitchen assistants, ensuring food is prepared to standard and on time.
  • Korean Cuisine Preparation
    Prepare and cook authentic Korean dishes such as kimchi, bulgogi, bibimbap, and jjigae (stews).
  • Menu Planning and Development
    Assist in creating and improving Korean menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
  • Ensure Food Quality and Presentation
    Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to maintain consistency and high standards.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    Check inventory levels and order supplies as needed, especially Korean-specific ingredients.
  • Maintain Hygiene and Food Safety Standards
    Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Training and Development
    Train kitchen staff on Korean cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
  • Handle Customer Feedback
    Address kitchen-related customer complaints or special dietary requests when needed.
