Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to manage vendor relationships and product development. The role involves monitoring operations, negotiating trade terms, and ensuring timely deliveries. Ideal candidates will have a degree and 3-5 years of experience in the U.S. retail industry, with familiarity in sourcing from Asia.

Job Description:

• Source vendors and develop products according to the objectives and requirements from the buying team.

• Monitor day to day operation including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow up.

• Responsible for trade terms negotiation and vendor set up, on time shipment & Critical Path management.

• Responsible for vendor relationship and KPI measurements

• Communicate daily with buyers and vendors to ensure programs are delivered as per schedule.

• Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply chain and packaging team.

Job Requirement:

• Degree holder highly preferred

• 3 to 5 years of experience in related product categories

• Knowledge of U.S. retail industry/sourcing industry

• Experience in U.S. Sourcing/Buying office would be preferred. Familiar with sourcing landscape in China, Southeast Asia, India and Pakistan

• Familiar with regulatory requirements for U.S. market

• Familiar with supply chain optimization process
