A leading company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to develop and approve materials, manage supplier relationships, and drive sourcing initiatives. The role requires a diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration and 2-3 years of experience in procurement. Candidates should be proficient in ERP systems and possess strong negotiation skills to enhance supplier contracts and support project quotations.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute sourcing strategies to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets
Work closely with Sales on project quotations and pricing submissions
Develop and approve new materials and suppliers
Localize key materials (e.g., cables, wires, components) to enhance supply efficiency
Evaluate and manage supplier performance for continuous improvement
Negotiate supplier contracts and drive cost reduction initiatives
Support resolution of supplier issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sourcing plans
Manage the full procurement cycle: raise POs, confirm orders, and track deliveries
Ensure timely availability of materials to meet production schedules
Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory
Liaise with suppliers on lead times, shipments, and order fulfillment
Review and manage procurement documents such as quotations, invoices, and delivery notes
Coordinate with Finance, Planning, and Warehouse for smooth order execution
Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
2–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
Proficient in ERP systems & Microsoft Office
Solid knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, and supplier negotiation
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Able to work cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, and Finance teams
Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Immediate or short-notice availability is a plus
