Sourcing Manager, SEA

This position is responsible for parts, solution and service business support for APDLC and ensures the supplier strategy meets the company’s policy and development.

• Conducts sourcing activities to support parts, solution and service business;
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop target costing and achieves the targets through utilization of the cost analysis tools, vendor negotiations and i2v efforts, etc.
• Conducts supplier research & analysis when required, evaluates & identifies potential new vendors to meet the business needs. Optimizes the supply base that provides competitive advantages in terms of cost, quality, delivery and technology.
• Drives supplier performance, strategic alignment and sustainability through effective supplier communications & relationship maintenance as well as the continuous supplier improvement initiatives.
• Works with BU and the vendors to identify potential cost-saving opportunities by improving the specifications and conducting tear down sessions and develops cost reduction proposals based on these activities on an ongoing basis.
• Regularly evaluates supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality and service expectations meet the contract requirements.
• Prepares sourcing reports for management and cross-functional teams on a regular basis to drive process improvements and better sourcing management and internal communication.
• Represents Procurement in cross-functional communications to align on sourcing plans/initiatives and solicit necessary support in achieving operational excellence through internal cooperation and collaboration.
• Focuses on the company’s productivity objectives and establishes good relationships with key suppliers to drive cost savings.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
• Complies with the company's code of conduct and business processes to ensure smooth business operations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain/Business is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• More than 5 years of experience in sourcing management, including more than 3 years of project sourcing experience.
• Good people management skills.
• Effective leadership, teamwork, communication and influencing skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English & Mandarin.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with good time management skills.

Office-based with occasional business trips.

• 5+ years of sourcing experience in manufacturing.
