This role involves managing the global sourcing process from start to finish, including vendor strategy, P&L management, profitability optimization, cost negotiation, product planning, and development. You will actively manage worldwide supplier relationships and collaborate with global partners such as Business Managers, New Product Development Managers, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Tech teams across North America, Europe, and Japan.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, strategic agility, and the ability to identify defects and opportunities for long-term solutions while fixing problems swiftly. You should be capable of driving business impact and delivering results in ambiguous environments and challenging situations. The role requires a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done. Experience working in a global team with multiple stakeholders is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Sourcing: Develop and implement category sourcing strategies.
2. Cost Optimization: Drive category profitability through cost-saving initiatives, data-driven negotiations, and sourcing strategies.
3. Vendor Relationships: Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure product quality and availability.
4. Market Insights: Provide industry and market insights for new product development, refreshes, and line extensions.
5. Vendor Identification: Identify and evaluate new vendors for specific categories.
6. Operational Efficiency: Lead initiatives to automate and scale sourcing processes, improving team performance.

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
• Experience in building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases, with the ability to communicate results effectively
