A leading international retail, FMCG & Food Manufacturing group is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to join their Singapore headquarters, offering an opportunity to shape the future of mall and grocery business across SEA. Responsibilities
  • As a Global Sourcing Manager based in Singapore, manage complex overseas sourcing operations critical to the organisation\'s retail expansion in Southeast Asia.
  • Build dependable relationships with suppliers worldwide, conduct detailed market research to stay ahead of trends, and execute procurement strategies that support both private label and OEM production.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, retailers, and distribution partners across borders while ensuring logistics run smoothly from origin to destination.
  • Negotiate effectively, coordinate multiple projects, and maintain meticulous records to deliver operational excellence.
  • Leverage established overseas networks while proactively identifying and onboarding new sourcing partners.
  • Conduct market trend analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Develop and implement overseas sourcing strategies aligned with growth and efficiency goals.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and manage import schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with overseas manufacturers, retailers, and distribution partners to facilitate procurement processes.
  • Support private label raw material imports/exports and OEM project execution by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee logistics management, customs clearance, and documentation for international shipments.
  • Drive joint sourcing initiatives with global retail partners to maximise cost efficiencies and product quality.
  • Monitor sourcing-related performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and maintain knowledge of industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • At least five years\' experience in sourcing, procurement, or trading roles, ideally within food or FMCG sectors.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across borders for supplier visits or project coordination.
  • Proven track record working with global retailers or convenience store chains on large-scale sourcing projects.
  • Hands-on experience managing logistics operations including import/export documentation and customs clearance.
  • Familiarity with private label import/export activities or OEM development projects is highly desirable.
  • Regional work experience across Southeast Asia markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable sourcing strategies.
What you bring

You will bring substantial expertise gained from at least five years working within procurement or trading environments, preferably those focused on food manufacturing or FMCG. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build trust-based relationships across cultures while your attention to detail ensures accuracy in every aspect of logistics management. Experience working directly with global retailers or convenience stores will allow you to navigate complex supply chains efficiently and will have experience supporting private label initiatives or managed OEM projects.
