We are seeking a proactive, Mandarin speaking and results-driven Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist to join our fast-growing EV Automotive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for global sourcing initiatives, with a strong focus on supplier identification and development in China and other key regions. The role also includes supplier quality management to ensure components and materials meet our high standards for performance, safety, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

1. Lead global sourcing efforts for EV components and raw materials, with an emphasis on China-based suppliers
2. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of meeting technical, commercial, and quality requirements
3. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and long-term contracts that support cost targets and supply continuity
4. Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and risk mitigation strategies across the supply chain
5. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to define sourcing requirements
6. Perform supplier audits, quality assessments, and drive corrective actions as needed
7. Manage supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement programs
8. Support localization initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards
9. Work closely with logistics and planning teams to optimize lead times, inventory, and delivery performance

Job Requirements

1. 10+ years of experience in sourcing/supply chain, preferably in the EV, automotive, with strong expertise in Electrical & Electronics sectors
2. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and APQP/PPAP methodologies
3. Proven track record in supplier development and negotiations, especially in Asia/China
4. Experience managing supplier quality, including audits, non-conformance handling, and continuous improvement
5. Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is required
6. Willingness to travel internationally as needed
7. Mandarin speaking candidates are highly preferred as this role will work closely with China suppliers
