Mandai Wildlife Group is seeking a technician for sound system operations to support captivating performances in Singapore's Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The role requires pre-show checks, setup, and effective operation of sound systems while ensuring all equipment performs optimally. Ideal candidates will possess a GCE 'N' level or higher and be comfortable working on weekends and public holidays.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-show checks on sound systems.

Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

You will be responsible in conducting pre-show checks on all sound systems to ensure that they are operational for the presentations. You will also be required to set-up, test and operate equipment in accordance with the acoustics of the area and lifting/manoeuvring of heavy equipment when necessary. You will also be required to assist with ad-hoc tasks during performances, wherever necessary.

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' level and above
• Those with experience in sound and/or lighting systems will be an added advantage
• Possess good knowledge in operating machines, electronics/technology systems
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Able to work on weekends/public holidays
