Job summary

New Path Medical & Aesthetics in Singapore is seeking a sonographer for our imaging centre on Upper Thomson Road. The role offers three fixed sessions weekly, with paid hourly rate and a preference for reliable scheduling to match referring clinics.

You will perform general and specialised ultrasound exams, prepare complete image sets, and support radiologist reporting while maintaining patient care and infection control throughout each examination.

Qualifications

• Full AHPC registration as Diagnostic Radiographer with Practising Certificate.
• Post-qualification award in diagnostic medical ultrasound or sonography.
• At least three years of post-qualification ultrasound experience.
• Ability to scan independently from day one.

Responsibilities

• General and specialised ultrasound: abdomen, thyroid, breast, pelvis, kidney, and more.
• Complete, well‑annotated image sets for radiologist reporting; flag urgent findings.
• Patient preparation, positioning and care during examinations.
• Routine equipment checks and infection control.

Job description

Our imaging centre is locate on Upper Thomson Road, two minutes from Springleaf MRT (TE4). We provide X-ray and ultrasound to our own patients and to referring clinics in Singapore.

The arrangement

We are looking for a sonographer to cover three fixed sessions every week. These are standing slots, not ad‑hoc calls — the same days each week, agreed in advance, so you can plan the rest of your month around them.

• Two weekdays, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
• Saturday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
• Rate: $70/hour. Paid monthly.

The work

• General and specialised ultrasound: abdomen, hepatobiliary and liver, kidney and KUB, pelvis (transabdominal and transvaginal), thyroid and neck, breast, prostate (transabdominal and transrectal), scrotum and testes, and soft tissue lumps.
• Complete, well‑annotated image sets and worksheets for radiologist reporting, with urgent findings flagged promptly.
• Patient preparation, positioning and care throughout the examination.
• Routine equipment checks and infection control for your sessions.

What we are looking for

• Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) as a Diagnostic Radiographer, with a valid Practising Certificate.
• A recognised post‑qualification award in diagnostic medical ultrasound or sonography.
• At least three years of post‑qualification ultrasound experience.
• Able to scan independently from day one.
• Someone who can commit to the same slots week to week. Reliability matters more to us here than anything else, because these sessions are what our referring clinics book against.
• We are not able to sponsor an Employment Pass, S Pass or any other work pass for this role.
