Job summary

The Orchard Imaging Centre in Singapore is seeking a Sonographer or Senior Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations in a professional outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort.

You will work 5.5 days per week with one Saturday off per month after confirmation, and rotate among central-area locations to support department operations while maintaining accurate records and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Radiography, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with professional certification or registration.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations as requested by doctors to support accurate diagnosis
• Prepare and inform patients thoroughly before ultrasound procedures to ensure cooperation and comfort
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively to produce reliable imaging results
• Capture clear and accurate ultrasound images for diagnostic evaluation
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the examination process
• Maintain precise and comprehensive examination records and documentation for clinical use
• Adhere strictly to clinical, safety, infection control, and workplace protocols to uphold quality standards
• Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and colleagues to facilitate smooth workflow
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and perform additional related duties as assigned to support department operations
