Job Description: Sonographer
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including:
- General Ultrasound studies such as Abdominal USG, Small parts, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Vascular/Doppler studies including Peripheral Arterial & Venous studies and Carotid Ultrasound
Ensure the production of diagnostic-quality images for radiological reports, prioritizing patient welfare, clinical responsibility, and effective use of technology.
- Maintain and operate imaging modalities, including conducting weekly & monthly quality assurance tests and keeping records of all services performed by vendors.
- Manage inventory and ordering of consumables.
- Keep records of radiographic examinations performed.
- Assist the Medical Director and Radiologist with research activities for publication in medical journals.
- Follow all directives from senior management and promote the interests of the company and associated medical facilities.
- Maintain current certifications, licenses, or other authorizations required for the role.
- Conduct yourself professionally and diligently, in the best interest of the company and affiliated facilities.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Radiology Manager, Centre Manager, or their nominee.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sonography or Medical Imaging Science.
- AHPC registration if applicable.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Work 5.5 days per week.
