Job summary

Singapore Medical Group is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our health screening centre on a full-time or part-time basis. You will deliver high-quality general ultrasound examinations while supporting an efficient screening journey and ensuring a comfortable experience for every patient.

The role emphasises patient-centred care, accuracy in imaging, and strict adherence to clinical protocols in a fast-paced screening environment.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• Relevant clinical experience in ultrasound imaging, health screening preferred.
• Accredited by the Allied Health Professions Council or eligible for registration.
• Competent in performing a range of general ultrasound scans independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced screening environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient preparation and positioning prior to imaging procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical review.
• Maintain complete, accurate and timely documentation of scans and findings.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct basic equipment checks and maintain the ultrasound room, reporting issues.
• Deliver professional, compassionate and patient-centred care in a fast-paced screening environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Perform general ultrasound examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Ensure proper patient preparation and positioning prior to imaging procedures
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical review
• Maintain complete, accurate and timely documentation of scans and findings
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct basic equipment checks, maintain the ultrasound room and promptly report technical or equipment issues.
• Deliver professional, compassionate and patient-centred care in a fast-paced health screening environment.

The Experience and Expertise You’ll Bring
