Job Description: Sonographer
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: Should be able to perform the following:
- General Ultrasound studies including Abdominal USG, Small parts, and OBS & GYN.
- Vascular/Doppler studies - Peripheral Arterial & Venous studies and Carotid Ultrasound.
Ensure that you are accredited to perform and produce images of diagnostic quality for radiological reports, with due regard to patient welfare, clinical responsibility, and effective use of technology.
- In charge of upkeep and maintenance of the imaging modalities that you operate, including weekly & monthly quality assurance tests, and keeping records of all services performed by vendors.
- Maintenance of inventory and ordering schedule for consumables.
- Record keeping of the number of radiographic examinations performed.
- Assist the Medical Director and the Radiologist in research works carried out by the Centre for publication in medical journals.
- Comply with all directions of the Senior Management and promote the interests of the company and related medical facilities.
- Ensure that all required certifications, licenses, or authorizations are current for the performance of your duties.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and diligence, in the best interest of the company and related medical facilities.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Radiology Manager and Centre Manager or their nominee.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Sonography or Medical Imaging Science.
- AHPC registration if available.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- 5.5 working days per week.
