Solutions Architect

Job Description:

Our client is an innovative fintech company providing cutting-edge solutions in blockchain, AI-driven financial products, payment solutions, trading platforms, etc. Currently, they are seeking a Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance fintech solutions. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for architecting, designing, and optimizing fintech platforms and systems, ensuring seamless integration across cloud, APIs, and digital financial ecosystems. This role requires expertise in financial technology infrastructure, cloud computing, microservices, and security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient fintech architectures for digital payments, trading platforms, core banking systems, or blockchain-based solutions.
• Develop microservices-based architectures and API-driven integrations.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations on cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Technical Leadership & Strategy

• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, product, and security teams to ensure seamless software development and deployment.
• Establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines, API security, data architecture, and distributed systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure compliance with fintech regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, MAS, HKMA).

Cloud & Infrastructure Optimization

• Optimize cloud computing environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing where applicable.
• Work with DevOps teams to enhance observability, logging, and performance monitoring.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Design architectures with a focus on cybersecurity, encryption, fraud detection, and identity management.
• Ensure compliance with fintech security standards, AML/KYC frameworks, and data protection laws.
• Implement security best practices, including OAuth, OpenID, SAML, and zero-trust models.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in software architecture, cloud computing, and fintech solutions design.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong experience with API development, RESTful services, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Knowledge of blockchain, AI/ML, or big data frameworks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fintech regulations, cybersecurity, and financial system integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
