The Solutions Engineering Team: a bit about us

The Solutions Engineering team is at the forefront of the Marketing Cloud technology landscape. This collaborative team works closely with sales to understand real business problems faced by customers and prospects, developing solutions and processes to overcome these obstacles and facilitate digital transformation. From workshops, whiteboarding, presentations, demonstrations, to proof-of-concept builds, the team collaborates across all areas of the business and technology stacks. We’re a fast-paced, light-hearted crew that works together, gets the job done, and maintains a startup spirit without the capital.

Your Responsibilities: a bit about you

A Solutions Engineer at Salesforce plays a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for complex digital marketing requirements. This role collaborates with sales, services, product, business consulting, and with prospective and existing customers. The Solutions Engineer must be adept at engaging with C-level, Director, management, and user-level contacts, tailoring conversations to each audience—whether strategic or technical. The role focuses on:

  • Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to identify challenges and goals related to digital marketing, and develop solutions and roadmaps for customer success.
  • Build: Demonstrate software capabilities through live demos and rapid prototyping, illustrating connected customer experiences with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including executive presentations and long-term IT roadmaps.
  • Deliver: Present complex technology in an engaging, persuasive manner to executive audiences, combining storytelling with technical insight.
  • Learn: Keep updated on product developments, industry trends, and news to continuously enhance expertise.

Requirements:

  • Strong English communication skills
  • Based in the Philippines
  • Pre-sales consulting experience in the digital space
  • Technical skills in HTML, Javascript, CSS, and Mobile technologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Interactive Design
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices
  • Experience in storytelling, storyboarding, and technical solution design
  • Experience developing mobile-responsive web pages, emails, and apps
  • Proficiency with presentation tools like PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Ability to pitch ideas and present to stakeholders
  • Problem-solving passion
  • 3 to 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Industry experience in financial services, telecommunications, travel, or retail preferred
  • Business-level bilingual capabilities (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Bahasa, Malay, Thai, Filipino) for client interactions across Southeast Asia, primarily the Philippines
  • Salesforce Certifications or Trailhead Ranger status
  • SQL and relational database experience
  • Understanding of the Martech landscape
  • Experience with enterprise software
