Job summary

ERP21 PTE LTD is seeking a Solution Architect to lead technical strategy and designs for Singapore public sector clients. You will bridge engineering teams with government agencies, ensuring bids win and solutions meet IM8 and GCC/MCC frameworks.

You will design containerized microservices using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Node.js, and guide deployment on AWS in line with MCC/GCC onboarding requirements. This role demands strong leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or relevant degree in Computer/ IT discipline.
• 10+ years in software development.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Must be clearable under standard Singapore Government security clearance protocols.
• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including significant experience delivering projects on behalf of a System Integrator to public sector clients.
• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Valid industry-standard Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF 9 / TOGAF Enterprise Architecture, IASA CITA, or equivalent).
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, and Node.js; hands-on with AWS cloud-native patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design modern, containerized microservices architectures using Java/Spring Boot, React.js, and Node.js that fit the vendor delivery framework and SLA metrics.
• Author comprehensive technical architecture blueprints, state-of-play matrices, and resource effort estimations for public sector tenders (GeBIZ RFPs).
• Architect and orchestrate application migration and deployment onto AWS environments conforming to MCC/GCC onboarding requirements.
• Act as trusted technical advisor presenting designs, risk mitigation plans, and change requests to PMOs and technical auditors.
• Embed automated security compliance tools (SAST/DAST) into the delivery pipeline to meet IM8 security controls before government handover.

Overview of Role:

The Solution Architect leads the technical strategy, design, and deployment of complex enterprise software systems for Singapore public sector clients. Operating on the System integrator side, this role serves as the primary technical expert bridging the engineering delivery teams with government statutory boards and ministries (e.g., GovTech, MHA, MINDEF, MOM, etc). The architect ensures that the company’s proposed solutions win bids, deliver on time, and remain fully compliant with Instruction Manual 8 (IM8) and Government Commercial Cloud (GCC v2.0)/ MINDEF Commercial Cloud (MCC) frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Design modern, containerized microservices architectures using Java/Spring Boot, React.js, and Node.js that fit the vendor delivery framework and SLA metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or relevant degree in Computer/ IT discipline.
• 10+ years in software development desired.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

• 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, including significant experience delivering projects on behalf of a System Integrator to public sector clients.
