Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Cloud & API Integration Solution Architect for the Banking sector. You will lead end-to-end design of hybrid cloud architectures, RESTful APIs, and secure integrations across on-prem and cloud services.

You will partner with enterprise architects, product vendors, and delivery teams to ensure architectural governance, compliance, and scalable implementation across projects in Singapore. TOGAF or cloud certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• 10+ years in solution architecture for banking tech.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures.
• Proficient with RESTful APIs and API management platforms.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, and mTLS security.

Responsibilities

As a Cloud API Solution Architect, lead the conceptualization and design of end-to-end technical solution architectures aligned with project requirements and enterprise IT strategies..

Responsibilities as below:

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, system SMEs, and product vendors to ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards while securing approval and buy-in from IT management and architecture governance boards.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related discipline.
• More than10 years relevant experience, with proven background insolution architecture, and possessbroad knowledge of banking technologies, systems, and evolving industry trends.
• Strong understanding of the banking system and project implementation lifecycle, with proven experience designing scalable and resilient hybrid architectures leveraging cloud service providers, on-premises systems, enterprise architecture principles, system integration patterns, microservices, and cloud computing services.
• Hands-on experience in system integration using RESTful APIs and host-to-host (SFTP) mechanisms, including configuration and management of API management platforms (APIM) covering policy enforcement, API publishing, security, and monitoring.
• Background in system development, particularly in Java, with solid understanding of source code management tools such as Git or SVN, and exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of API specification standards and security mechanisms including OAuth, OIDC, and mTLS, as well as SFTP security practices such as SSH key management and PGP encryption.
• In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, particularly networking and serverless computing, with experience in Azure native services such as App Services, Logic Apps/Function Apps, Container Services, and preferred knowledge of Azure API Management and Azure IaaS/PaaS offerings.
• Relevant certification in TOGAF and cloud solution architecture is a plus.
