THALES SOLUTIONS ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Solution Architect specializing in Infrastructure and Systems Deployment for C2 solutions. You will architect, design, and integrate advanced security ops systems to assure real-time response and coordinated incident management.

You will lead the deployment of IaC, Kubernetes clusters, and scalable data-center topologies. This role demands deep expertise in C2, IoT, and security platforms across multi-site environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering.
• Certifications in security/command and control domains are highly desirable.
• 5+ years of designing and deploying C2 systems for defence or critical infrastructure.
• Experience integrating CCTV, access control, intrusion detection with C2 platforms.
• Proficiency with real-time monitoring, dashboards, and SOC/CSO operations.

Job description

This Solution Architect role specializing in Infrastructure and Systems Deployment of C2 Solutions is pivotal for designing and implementing advanced security operations systems that ensure real-time response and efficient coordination during security incidents. Your expertise will drive the innovation and integration of smart, connected security systems that protect people, assets, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design Command and Control (C2) systems tailored to manage and coordinate site protection, surveillance, and emergency response efforts, through data analytics, data correlation and artificial intelligence

• Develop end-to-end solutions integrating physical security technologies (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) with centralized C2 platforms to enable real-time monitoring, decision-making, and operational coordination.

• Lead the integration of C2 solutions with various physical security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and emergency communication platforms.

• Design solutions that allow seamless interoperability between C2 systems, IoT devices, and security monitoring platforms to enable fast, informed decisions during critical events.

• Define Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) architectures (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) to provision reproducible, self-healing environments for development, staging and air-gapped production sites without external internet dependencies

• Design enterprise Kubernetes clusters tailored for mission-critical C2 microservices, leveraging GitOps workflows to automate state synchronization and deployment state consistency

• Architect multi-site active-active/active-passive data center topologies with automated DNS/BGP failover, multi-region database replication, and low-latency messaging guarantees to meet customer system availability targets

• Design fault-tolerant event-driven architecture for up to sub-second telemetry ingestion, video streaming metadata, sensor alert propagation and system event distribution across federated C2 nodes

• Architect resilient data flow topologies connecting field-deployed sensor sub-systems, access control units, Video Management Systems (VMS) to centralized core C2 visualization platforms, ensuring reliable delivery over customer-provisioned network connections

• Size and tune distributed messaging clusters to support high-throughput, low-latency workloads generated by analytics engines, AI video analytics, and spatial mapping layers

• Design and right-size hyperconverged compute and software-defined storage (SDS) clusters optimized for heavy IOPS workloads such as multi-channel video ingestion, spatial indexing and event logging.

• Standardize hardware appliance profiles for localized command centers, mobile control units, and ruggedized edge nodes running containerized C2 agent worklods.

• Ensure that all C2 security systems comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NFPA, GDPR, physical security regulations).

• Embed “Security-by-Design” principles across all environment tiers, ensuring solution blueprints satisfy data protection, cryptographic, and system hardening benchmarks

• Advise stakeholders on building automated CI/CD pipelines enforcing static code analysis, artifact sign-off, dependency vulnerability scanning, and automated deployment verification.

• Innovate to improve system resilience, scalability, and performance, ensuring the C2 solution can evolve to meet new security threats and operational demands.

• Collaborate with site security managers, IT teams, facilities management, and external contractors to ensure the C2 solution is deployed effectively and meets operational goals.

• Provide leadership in security architecture discussions, offering expertise on best practices and future trends in physical security and C2 technologies.

• Guide teams on the deployment, integration, and operation of the C2 systems, ensuring smooth implementation and user adoption.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Certifications in Command and Control systems or security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are highly desirable.

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in designing and deploying C2 systems for defence, public safety, airport/maritime or critical infrastructure protection.

• Strong experience in integrating security technologies with C2 platforms, such as surveillance systems, access control, incident management tools, and communication systems.

• Expertise in developing or integrating real-time monitoring systems, dashboard solutions, and communication platforms for security operations centers (SOCs) or control rooms.

• Deep understanding of real-time situational awareness platforms, C4ISR/C2 frameworks, telemetry ingestion, physical security information management (PSIM), video analytics pipelines, and sensor integration protocols

• Hands-on architecture experience with HCI platforms (e.g. Nutanix, VMware vSAN) and edge-to-core hybrid infrastructure deployment models

• Proficiency in automated provisioning and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD/Flux

• Demonstrated expertise in active-active data center topologies, disaster recovery strategy and automation, air-gapped environment updates, and sub-second failover mechanics
