Job summary

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE is seeking a highly qualified researcher to conduct simulation and experimental work on solid state batteries. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator on research projects spanning all solid state battery systems.

The role may also involve design and development of battery electrodes and electrolytes, contributing to advancing understanding and performance of next‑generation rechargeable batteries.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant science or engineering field.
• Experience or strong interest in rechargeable battery research, especially sodium or other metal‑ion systems.
• Knowledge of batteries with solid electrolytes.
• Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate with a research team.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and scientific writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulation and experimental research on solid state battery systems.
• Work closely with the Principal Investigator on related research.
• Participate in design and development of battery electrodes and electrolytes.
• Contribute to advancing understanding and performance of next‑generation rechargeable batteries.
