Responsibilities

The O&M Technician is responsible for providing hands-on support in the operation and maintenance of all PV systems in our portfolio. He/she will assist the engineers with maintenance tasks, including performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, and carrying out necessary repairs.

Additionally, the O&M Technician will oversee contractors when engaged for maintenance work, ensuring that safety and quality standards are adhered to.

The O&M Technician will:

• Support engineers in maintaining the company’s installed PV systems and those covered under O&M contracts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Carry out repair activities on PV systems efficiently and safely.
• Record faults, alarms, and maintenance actions in the company’s internal tracking system.
• Oversee maintenance work when contractors are engaged, ensuring that safety and quality are adhered to.
• Adhere to the organization's ISO9001 and ISO45001 policies and guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess a Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in the electrical or related industry is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of performing tasks, including working at heights.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in renewable energy are encouraged to apply.
