Job summary

ANTAS PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Engineer with strong Banking and Avaloq experience to lead functional, integration, API, and regression testing across banking applications.

You will validate transactions, automate regression tests, and collaborate with product owners and developers throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Responsibilities include designing test scenarios, executing SIT/UAT, performing SQL validation, and supporting releases and post-release verification, while leveraging Jira

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Mandatory Banking/Financial Services domain experience.
• Hands-on Avaloq core banking system experience.
• Proficient in Functional, SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Experience with API testing and SQL/database validation.
• Experience testing complex banking workflows and transactions.
• Strong test planning, defect management, and release validation.
• Familiar with Jira and/or Azure DevOps for defects and tests.
• Exposure to test automation using Playwright and Python.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall methods.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and define test scenarios, conditions, and quality risks.
• Design and execute functional, SIT, UAT, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Test Avaloq core banking systems and validate workflows and transactions.
• Validate UI, API, database, and backend functionality.
• Develop detailed test cases, data, scripts, and test evidence.
• Perform API testing and SQL validation to ensure data integrity.
• Identify, analyse, and triage defects with development teams.
• Support release validation, production deployments and post-release checks.
• Develop and maintain automated regression scripts to improve coverage.
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, and project teams throughout SDLC.
• Maintain QA documentation and contribute to standards and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong Banking and Financial Services experience and hands-on expertise in Avaloq core banking platforms. The candidate will be responsible for functional, integration, API, database, regression, and UAT testing across banking applications and transaction processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements and define test scenarios, test conditions, and quality risks for banking applications.
• Design and execute functional, SIT, UAT, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform testing of Avaloq core banking systems and validate banking workflows and transactions.
• Validate application functionality across UI, API, database, and backend systems.
• Develop detailed test cases, test data, test scripts, and test evidence.
• Perform API testing and SQL-based database validation to verify data integrity and system interfaces.
• Identify, analyse, and troubleshoot defects; perform root cause analysis and defect triage with development teams.
• Support release validation, production deployment, post-release verification, and incident analysis.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve regression coverage and testing efficiency.
• Work closely with business users, product owners, developers, and project teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Maintain testing documentation and contribute to QA standards, automation, and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Mandatory experience in Banking / Financial Services domain, with strong understanding of banking processes and transaction-based applications.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Avaloq core banking systems, including implementation, testing, or production support.
• Strong experience in Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and SQL/database validation.
• Experience testing complex banking workflows, financial transactions, and enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, defect management, and release validation.
• Experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps for defect and test management.
• Exposure to test automation using Playwright, Python, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting production incidents, application releases, and post-production validation.
