Job summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific in Singapore seeks a Software Test Engineer II to ensure quality of advanced software for analytical instruments. You will collaborate with developers, scientists and stakeholders to validate software that enables groundbreaking research in mass spectrometry, microscopy, and related equipment.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in software testing with emphasis on automated testing.
- ISTQB certification preferred, particularly Test Automation Engineer certification.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks and knowledge of API testing.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
- Programming skills in Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript; strong English communication.
Responsibilities
- Validate software for analytical instruments and ensure quality and reliability.
- Write clear test plans, test cases, and comprehensive documentation.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, scientists and stakeholders across global teams.
