Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions is seeking a Software Solution Architect to drive architecture and technical direction of enterprise software systems in Singapore. This role leads scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions aligned with business objectives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to translate requirements into robust architectural blueprints, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement across the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems
• Define system specifications, architecture standards, and development best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical and architectural blueprints
• Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture, compliance, and security requirements
• Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and tools that support long-term strategies
• Guide development teams in implementing architectural decisions, design patterns, and coding standards
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for system optimization
• Mentor engineers on software design principles and emerging technologies
• Oversee software lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Drive automation initiatives and CI/CD practices to improve development efficiency and software quality
• Lead validation, verification, and user acceptance testing from an architectural perspective
• Continuously assess and improve system reliability, performance, maintainability, and technical debt management
• Ensure alignment with project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and business objectives
