We are looking for a committed and capable Software Lead to ensure the successful day-to-day delivery of software components in our data and analytics projects. As a senior developer/manager, you will play a crucial role in driving project execution, task coordination, and team productivity.

This role requires a strong understanding of data-focused software development and the ability to lead and support a growing team. Experience with platforms such as Denodo, Dataiku, and FFmpeg is considered a strong advantage.

• Oversee the daily development activities of the team, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

• Translate project requirements into actionable development plans and coordinate execution.

• Guide and mentor developers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to align implementations with technical architecture.

• Act as the key contact for delivery progress and issue resolution across stakeholders.

• Drive the adoption of agile or iterative methodologies and improve team workflows.

• Ensure compliance with public sector standards for data security, accessibility, and maintainability.

Qualities We Value

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1–2 years in a team leadership or delivery management role.

• Proven track record of delivering data and analytics projects.

• Strong skills in backend development (Python, Java, etc.) and working with APIs or data pipelines.

• Familiarity with:

  o Denodo, Dataiku, FFmpeg, or similar platforms.

• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of team outcomes.
