Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD is seeking a senior software engineering leader to guide a team through the full software development lifecycle.

You will provide technical guidance, code reviews, and career development support while shaping a collaborative, Agile culture and driving timely delivery of features and fixes. You will collaborate with the software manager, architect, and stakeholders on technical requirements, plan sprints, monitor risks, and advocate best practices in CI/CD,

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software development, with at least 2 years in leadership/mentorship.
• Strong microservices knowledge, authentication and authorization understanding.
• Deep knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, XML/JSON, web security, auth protocols).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools (Jira, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Proven track record in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate/JPA, REST, JSON.
• Experience with middleware like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Solid software architecture expertise, databases (SQL/NoSQL), REST APIs.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile platforms is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
• In-depth knowledge in microservices architecture, authentication, and authorization.
• In-depth knowledge of web technologies including HTTP, XML/JSON, web security, authentication/authorization protocols.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Proven track record of software design and development using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA, REST, JSON.
• Experience in middleware technologies like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
