Job summary

Coinhako is a market-leading platform for access to digital assets like Bitcoin from Singapore. The company is expanding and seeks motivated individuals passionate about the crypto space to join as a Software Engineering Intern in the Platform Team.

You will build and maintain internal tools, work on APIs and data models, participate in the full development life cycle, and optimize service build and runtime performance within a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more languages: Go, Python, or Ruby, and willingness to work with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven with ownership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal tools and tech platform to increase engineering productivity.
• Implement APIs and design data models.
• Participate in all development life cycle phases including development, code review, testing, and debugging.
• Optimize build and runtime performance of services.

You will join our team as Software Engineering Intern in the Platform Team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and maintain internal tools and tech platform to increase the productivity and effectiveness of our engineering teams.
• Work on tasks such as implementing APIs and designing data models.
• Participate in all development life cycle phases, such as developing, code review, testing, and debugging.
• Optimise build and runtime performance of our services

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in one or more of the following languages: Go, Python, or Ruby, and willingness to work with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models
• Ability to work with a team in a fast‑paced environment
• You are self-driven, have a strong sense of ownership, and can work and learn independently with minimum supervision
