Job summary

HeyGen is seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Intern (Singapore-based) to help improve the internal video annotation platform used by our data team. You will work on frontend and backend features, enhance workflows, and refine annotation templates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Some experience with frontend and backend development.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Basic experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Able to debug issues and improve existing systems.
• Comfortable working with imperfect systems and unclear requirements.
• Strong ownership and good communication skills.
