Job Description
  • Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Semiconductor Technology
  • Position Title: Software Engineer (Vision)
  • Working Location: Kallang
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday - Friday 9AM - 6PM)
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $6,000 + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions for automated computer vision equipment, contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Research, design, and develop advanced image processing and computer vision algorithms for defect detection, classification, and feature extraction in automated inspection systems.
  • Develop user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and manage large datasets, ensuring efficient data processing and visualization.
  • Implement multi-threaded and parallel processing techniques to optimize performance for real-time inspection systems.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including hardware, optics, and application specialists, to ensure seamless system integration and achieve project goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, validation, and performance analysis of computer vision software and algorithms to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for software modules, algorithms, and processes to support future development and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in programming within the Visual Studio Development Environment. Strong command of C++ programming. Extensive knowledge in vision inspection, computer vision, and image processing. Familiarity with C# programming is beneficial. Experience with Deep Learning (AI) for defect classification is highly advantageous
