Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Singapore to perform testing, validation and troubleshooting for semiconductor equipment and automation systems.

You will develop and maintain test scripts in C# and work closely with software and engineering teams to resolve issues. The role requires proficiency in C# and experience in software testing within the semiconductor sector, with knowledge of C++ and SQL considered a plus.

Salary: $6,000 - $10,000 per month

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Perform software testing, troubleshooting and validation for semiconductor equipment and automation systems.
• Develop, execute and maintain test scripts and testing procedures using C#.
• Work closely with software and engineering teams to identify, analyse and resolve software and equipment-related issues.
• Conduct testing based on equipment operations, functions and real-world applications.
• Document test results, track defects and prepare testing reports to ensure software quality and system reliability.
• Support equipment integration, system verification and continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Participate in technical training in China periodically during the first 2-3 months of employment.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in C# programming and software testing.
• Relevant experience in the semiconductor equipment and automation industry.
• Understanding of equipment operations, system functions and practical applications, beyond coding alone.
• Knowledge of C++ and SQL would be an added advantage.
• Able to communicate in Chinese to support technical discussions and training.
• Willingness to travel to China periodically for training during the initial 2-3 months of employment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
