Job summary

Google's Safe Coding team in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to securing large-scale systems and building trusted developer experiences. You will own critical components, collaborate with product, security, and platform teams, and help scale secure software practices.

This role offers the chance to influence Google’s security posture across APAC, contribute to open-source style workflows, and work in a fast-paced, highly technical environment with mentoring opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).

Responsibilities

Deliver first-class software engineering and take deep technical ownership of critical projects and system designs.
Partner closely with technical leads, Product Managers, and Technical Program Managers to execute on the team’s goal and AI strategy.
Stay on the rapidly developing threat landscape and boldly embrace the AI environment to engineer new solutions.
Work with partner teams to integrate security solutions at an unprecedented scale.
