Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and secure large-scale SSO solutions using Java frameworks. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and project managers to deliver robust and secure systems on schedule, emphasizing performance and security.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring skills, SDLC experience, and familiarity with cloud and container tech. Government-linked projects require Singapore Citizenship and compliance with security

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Experience in government-related projects.
• Full SDLC development experience.
• Strong Java (11–21), Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and database experience with MSSQL/MySQL/RDS.
• Proficient Linux and Windows shell scripting for deployment.
• Hands-on system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Self-motivated with ownership and service orientation.
• Experience with Apereo CAS SSO, Singpass, Corppass, IdP, SAML2, OIDC.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and container technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes).
• Oracle Certified Professional (Java) preferred.

• Experienced of software development experience with full SDLC exposure.
• Strong proficiency in Java (11–21), Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework, with experience in modern relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, RDS) and secure coding practices.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows shell scripting for application deployment across both environments.
• Hands‑on experience in system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Skilled in development and CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong initiative and ownership.
• Service‑oriented with a customer‑focused mindset.
