Job summary

CODEX SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Software Engineer to join an Agile, cross-functional team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mission-critical digital solutions in Singapore.

The role welcomes engineers with 1–3 years of experience or fresh graduates with strong fundamentals and internship projects. You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, deliver scalable features, and ensure secure, maintainable solutions aligned with user needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, or SW Eng; 1–3 years of software development experience preferred; fresh grads considered.
• Proficiency in TS with Angular/React/Next.js; C#; Java, or other project needs.
• Familiarity with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Strong SDLC understanding, OOP, RESTful APIs, microservices, software maintenance, secure coding.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum; ability to work in sprint-based delivery.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality, and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); exposure to cloud/IaC/DevSecOps is a plus.
• Able to apply best practices in QA, evaluation, benchmarking and adapt approaches to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional, tested, secure, and scalable software features from the backlog and sprint priorities.
• Participate in cross-functional Agile teams including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with QA, design, DevOps, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, tasks and acceptance criteria.
• Develop front-end and back-end components, APIs, and modules using the project’s tech stack.
• Support PoC/IOC initiatives to enable safe experimentation and incremental delivery.
• Write and maintain unit/integration tests for CI pipelines and quality gates.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD templates for build, test, security, and deployment.
• Set up and troubleshoot development environments to support productive work.
• Apply DevSecOps practices, IaC, secure coding standards, and maintenance best practices.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and post-deployment support.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, benchmarking, and QA activities.
• Work with minimal supervision on modules and coordinate small tasks as needed.
