Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a software developer to design and implement highly scalable micro-services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Security, along with experience in software SDLC and cloud-native applications. This is a 1-year contract position based in Jurong East offering a salary of up to $5500, with a working schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with software SDLC including specifications, design, testing.
• Some experience in developing cloud-native software, preferably in Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test micro-services, frameworks, and APIs.
• Prepare technical design documents and code snippets.
• Perform testing and debugging activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test highly scalable resilient micro-services, frameworks and APIs
• Prepare technical design documents, code snippets of frameworks and APIs developed
• Design, test and debug activities
• Understand some DevOps and know some tools for CI/CD

Job Requirement

• Have an open mind and keen to learn new technology
• Software SDLC experience on requirements specifications, design, implementation, unit testing and integration testing
• Understand OOAD and some knowledge of design patterns
• Deep understanding of Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Spring Security is a must
• Experience of developing apps with micro-service architecture
• Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science
• Some experience in developing cloud native software, preferably in Java
