Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, Singapore, is seeking a Software Engineer for a 1-year contract. You will architect and ship scalable features for live production systems, drive prototype projects, own cloud deployments, and collaborate across teams to lift technical excellence.

You bring 2+ years of web development with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and API design. Experience with testing frameworks and DevOps tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience building modern web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+).
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern front-end development practices.
• Solid experience designing RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Node.js and ReactJS.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (schema design, optimization, querying).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing using JavaScript frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Sinon.
• Bonus: Go (golang) for API development.
• Familiarity with Webpack and Vite.
• DevOps: Docker containers, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS deployment strategies.
• Testing: Playwright and Cypress for end-to-end tests.
• Agile fluency: Previous experience working in Scrum or Agile environments.
