Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software from design requirements and ensure quality. You will translate specifications into code and ensure adherence to standards.

The role includes unit testing, support for integration/system/UAT, production issue resolution, and maintaining documentation. Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot and Jasper Reports is preferred, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 1–4 years of experience in developing and delivering application software
• Relevant system development and maintenance experience using Java-related technologies
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Web MVC, Apache Maven and Jasper Report has an added advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities
