ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise Java applications and RESTful services. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing APIs with Spring Boot, optimizing SQL queries, and collaborating with QA, BI, and product stakeholders to meet business needs and ensure performance.

Formación

• Proficient in Java to develop enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong backend development experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, and software design.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications and RESTful APIs while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot to meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to ensure seamless integration and functionality
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages to support data processing and application performance
• Utilize Oracle Database and PL/SQL to enhance application functionality and data management
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React to improve user experience
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues to maintain system reliability
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards, development best practices, and secure coding guidelines to ensure code quality
• Prepare technical documentation and support application deployment and production maintenance for operational continuity
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and application modernization to drive innovation

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient in Java programming to develop enterprise‑grade applications
• Experienced in backend development using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework for scalable solutions
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles for effective software architecture
• Skilled in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices to enable modular system design
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases to manage and query data efficiently
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems to manage source code collaboratively
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills to address technical challenges and collaborate effectively
