Job summary

Google LLC in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer for Google Pay Mobile Development to craft cross-platform shopping experiences using Flutter (Dart) for Android and iOS. You will collaborate with Product and UX teams to deliver new user-facing features and integrate AI/ML models into the client.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year in algorithms and Android development; Master/PhD is preferred, with experience in Go, Rust, or Java and a passion for AI and ML prompts.

Responsibilities

• Work extensively in a Flutter (Dart) codebase delivering seamless, cross-platform (Android and iOS) shopping experiences to Google Pay users.
• Partner effectively with Product Manager (PM) and User Experience (UX) leads to build new user-facing experiences, and collaborate closely with cross-Product Area (PA) partner teams to integrate AI/ML models into the client.
• Develop and iterate on Large Language Model (LLM) prompts and AI infrastructure setup to improve the quality of our conversational AI stylist.
• Conduct AI evaluations, including operational and qualitative assessments for conversational AI response and image/video GenAI results.
