Job summary

Eames Consulting Group seeks an experienced Software Engineer to lead end-to-end development of scalable, secure systems enabling high-volume data exchange. You will influence architecture, build resilient backend services, and shape core platforms within a collaborative product engineering team.

You will own deployment, drive design choices, collaborate with product managers and designers, and ensure quality through observability and automated testing across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building full stack production apps with scalable architectures.
• Strong hands-on in Golang, Node.js, TypeScript and React.
• Solid SQL knowledge and relational database design.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IaC tooling (Terraform).
• Proven testing across unit, integration and end-to-end levels.
• Degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Domain knowledge in high-throughput/transactional systems and data services.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle architecture and deployment of distributed web apps and data services.
• Direct system design choices, write technical specs, and mentor peers.

In this role, you will lead the end to end development of scalable, secure systems that facilitate high volume data exchange across strategic industry ecosystems. Key Responsibilities

• Own the full life cycle architecture and deployment of performant, distributed web applications and data services.
• Direct system design choices, author technical specifications, and champion engineering standards through peer reviews and mentorship.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional product managers and designers to deliver iterative software updates.
• Ensure operational excellence by baking observability, telemetry, and automated unit or integration tests into all production services.
• Investigate emerging tooling, including machine learning workflows, to streamline internal delivery and maintain high code quality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining full stack applications in production environments.
• Strong hands on proficiency with Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Solid grasp of relational database architecture, schema design, and advanced SQL querying.
• Practical exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, alongside Infrastructure as Code tooling like Terraform.
• Proven background in automated testing frameworks across unit, integration, and end to end scopes.
• Relevant academic qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Background in high throughput transactional systems, event streaming with Kafka, or analytical datastores is a clear advantage.
