Job summary

WSH Experts Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Software Architect to design and develop scalable, secure and high-performance software solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures. The role focuses on building distributed systems, microservices on AWS, and ensuring reliability through CI/CD, containers, caching and proper data models.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 10 years of software development and architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of microservices, concurrency, networking and databases.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Redis and MongoDB.
• Financial technology or high-performance systems experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable distributed systems using Java, Golang and Node.js.
• Architect microservices-based applications and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Design high-performance backend systems using concurrency, caching and event-driven architecture.
• Lead architecture and development of enterprise and financial technology applications.
• Design and optimise SQL and NoSQL databases, including Redis and MongoDB, using indexing, sharding and replication strategies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct system profiling, load testing and performance optimisation to improve reliability and scalability.
• Design secure and highly available systems incorporating authentication, encryption and industry security practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and DevOps teams to establish technical standards and deliver business solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on software architecture, distributed systems and application performance.
