Job summary

Alta is building a modern, digital-first capital markets platform with a focus on security, scalability, and rapid iteration. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute across full-stack development, learn from a talented team, and influence architecture and platform decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will work on brokerage, back-office, exchange, and custody platforms, engaging with API-driven services, data pipelines, and cloud-native patterns while mentoring juniors and upholding

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages.
• Experience with building scalable, secure cloud-native apps.
• Familiarity with source control workflows and PR processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to multiple technical teams and own deliverables from planning to release.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality across teams.
• Help evolve infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Contribute to data models and data schemas for core business processes.
• Maintain focus on security and privacy for investors and partners.
