Job summary

DSO National Laboratories is Singapore’s premier defence R&D organization focused on delivering advanced electronic systems. The Software Engineer (Electronic Systems) role involves designing, developing, testing and deploying software for defence-related electronics in a collaborative lab and field environment.

You will elicit requirements, perform system integration, and work with Agile/DevSecOps methodologies while coordinating with hardware teams to ensure seamless lab and deployment-site

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Engineering / Computer Science / EEE).
• Hands-on experience in C++ programming.
• Strong OOAD and software design skills.
• Good technical writing and communication abilities.
• Embedded software development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Elicit software requirements according to system specifications and user requirements.
• Design and development of software applications for electronic systems.
• Perform software requirement analysis, design and development, system integration and testing, as well as software deployment.
• Deploy and maintain quality software applications using Agile and DevSecOps.
• Work with project team to carry out integration and testing with hardware in the lab and deployment site.
